What You’ll Do: You might have a general idea of what an assistant does, but have you ever considered the role of a Litigation Assistant? Here at Daniel Stark, our Litigation Assistants are essential to launching the litigation process. You’ll collaborate closely with an assigned paralegal and attorney to gather critical evidence that strengthens our clients’ cases as we prepare pivotal litigation milestones.

The Breakdown:

  • Request and review billing and medical record affidavits for accuracy
  • Schedule crucial litigation milestones, including mediations, depositions, and trial
  • E-filing
  • Data entry
  • Drafting, reviewing, and mailing form letters
  • Creating templates for response to discovery in Microsoft Word.

What We’re Looking For: 
  • Managing and maintaining a caseload of 40-60 cases with A rating from clients, assigned attorney, and leadership.
  • Ability to navigate seamlessly through various computer programs and software
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to distinguish between urgent and important tasks
  • Empathy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Naturally prone to making detailed, thorough, and organized notes

What You’ll Earn:
  • $18.00-$20.00 per Hour
